The World Bank forecasts Bulgaria’s 2018 GDP growth at 3.8%, 0.1 p.p. lower than earlier estimate

The World Bank revised slightly downward its forecast for Bulgaria’s economic growth. In 2018 the institution projects 3.8% rise in GDP, 0.1 p.p. less than the previous edition of its Global Economic Prospects. Also corrected were the two following years. In 2019 and 2020 World Bank estimates 3.6% annual GDP growth 0.4 and 0.3 below earlier forecast respectively. No country-specific reasons for the revisions were given.
